Pocket Financial (the “Product“) is a Canadian financial wellness application distributed and operated by Bright Learning Lab, Inc. (“Bright Learning Lab”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Bright Learning Lab is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you access or use Pocket Financial and related services (collectively, the “Services“).

  • The Pocket Financial mobile application and website;

Important: Pocket Financial does not require you to connect accounts to use the Services. If you do, we process connected financial information strictly to provide requested features (e.g., categorization, budgeting insights).

When no longer required, we securely delete or de-identify information.

Users can delete their account along with all associated personal data directly within the app.

How to delete your account:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the deletion request.

Data deleted:

  • All Data will be deleted

Deletion will be processed immediately.

11. Security Safeguards

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Information, including:

  • Access controls and least-privilege permissions;
  • Encryption in transit and where appropriate at rest;
  • Security monitoring and logging;
  • Secure development practices.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
